Reigate & Redhill Dementia Action Alliance


Reigate & Redhill are towns in the borough of Reigate & Banstead in the county of Surrey in South East England

Reigate & Redhill DAA is set up to make the local community more dementia friendly by improving support networks, raising awareness about dementia, engaging communities to reduce social isolation and improving the quality of life for people living with dementia.

Reigate & Redhill DAA will create a platform for the local organisations, religious groups, businesses and the volunteer sector to work together by sharing good practice, exchanging information to create a wide supportive network where people living with dementia and their families are supported to live well.


This Reigate & Redhill DAA has identified the following priority areas

  • To raise awareness about dementia in the local community.
  • Engage local organisations to create and support dementia friendly environment.
  • Promote fitness and exercise amongst people living with dementia.
  • To build support networks for the carers of people living with dementia.
