On Thursday 28 March 2019, the NDAA were joined by Dr Dawne Garrett, Professional Lead - Older People and Dementia Care at the Royal College of Nursing, who led an engaging and informative webinar on sexual intimacy and older people. Dawne covered multiple topics including:

  • Issues of the ageing process on sexual activity
  • Capacity to consent
  • Sexually transmitted infections
  • Ethical considerations in practice using example case studies as basis for discussion
