Age UK Brent was formerly known as Age Concern Brent. Age UK Brent is local independent charity and member of the Age UK local partners. Age UK BrentWe provide telephone and in-person advice and we campaign through Age UK on older peoples' issues, such as pension, age discrimination, healthcare, transport and much more. We work with other local voluntary organisations to give services that older people need. We aim to ensure that older people are valued more. We promote the well-being of older citizens in Brent. We work to make later life an even more fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

Age UK Bromley and Greenwich
We provide preventative quality services activities and support that, promote opportunities, independence and choice for older people. We also influence local policy and practice, promote the contribution older people make to the community and campaign on issues affecting older people. We offer free, independent and confidential information and advice to older people, their carers, relatives and friends on a wide range of issues. They include money matters, housing, health, help in your home, transport and leisure activities. We also provide help with benefit entitlement.

Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest is an independent charity which provides services for people over 50 years across the North Worcestershire area. Our aim is to encourage people to live healthy and active lives and to remain independent and connected with their communities for as long as possible. Our local teams provide support to promote good physical and mental health for older people across North Worcestershire this includes the main areas of population and also many rural areas. Our services are designed to support all older people and their carers who either live alone or with support, assist them to retain or regain skills and maintain relationships. We support older people with disabilities and people with memory problems and people living with a diagnosis of dementia. We adopt a person centred approach through our services. This is through a range of services for older people across including Information and Advice, wellbeing Service,Help at Home, Befriending, Care Call, Foot Care, Home Maintenance, Luncheon Club, Social Activities including ‘men in Sheds, and digital inclusion. We support people to remain independent, deal with money worries, reduce isolation and increase social opportunities or provide support during difficult times. We work with and for older people across diverse communities. Our clients are often those living on low incomes, people who are socially isolated and those whose continuing independence is at risk. We work hand in hand with partners such as Citizen advice.

Age UK Bury
Age UK Bury aims to improve the lives of all older people, living in the borough of Bury. Age UK Bury is a local independent charity that works with other Age UK partners throughout Greater Manchester and the UK. Our services include The Jubilee Centre – with a membership of over 800 older people, our centre provides 28 activities every week to bring people together and keep them fit, healthy and “young at heart”; Four “Friends Together” groups; Information and Advice; A Community Navigator Worker who is part of the Staying Well Team who provides targeted support to prevent ill-health to older people living in Radcliffe; Volunteering Opportunities and Insurance and Products – our social enterprise provides a range of products specially designed for older people.

1. We work in a person-centered way, doing all we can to uphold ‘personhood’ 2. Provide services to support independence from recently diagnosed (Budding Friends project, activities groups) to living with later stage dementia (Lane Club) 3. New staff and volunteers receive ‘dementia awareness’ training 4. People living with dementia access peer support via services such as Tools Company / Men in Sheds, Budding Friends or by signposting within the city. We provide carers’ support service: one to one and groups 5. Information and Advice Service includes benefits advice and help to plan ahead. We also provide tailored information e.g. access to respite, accessible activities 6. Our specialist services are inclusive and based on understanding of the challenges of living with dementia. We aim to be as personalised and adaptable as possible to provide services where people and their carers feel safe and supported. 7. Through access to our allotment, arts activities and peer groups, we aim to enable people to try new things, to enjoy being outside and in the company of others. 8. We have active links to the University and Hospital, and regularly recruit to studies, find opportunities for people affected by dementia to take part in interviews.

Age UK Gateshead
Age UK Gateshead was established as Age Concern Gateshead in 1972. Our mission is to promote the wellbeing of older people and make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. We provide a range of services including independent advice information and advocacy and health and wellbeing projects including physical activities, social opportunities and bereavement support. An average of 140 volunteers help us out, many of whom are themselves older people who benefit from their role as much as their work supports our clients. We have weathered decades of change by remaining focussed on our aim of improving the lives of older people, working closely with older people and valuing our relationships with partners and stakeholders who share our aims and values. We are now an established and well respected social care provider, and one of the larger voluntary organisations in the borough.
