Age Concern Sandwich
We are a Day Centre for the over 50s open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. We offer a freshly cooked hot meal, mini bus service with an escort to collect people from their home. We provide many services including our own Chiropodist, Hairdressers, assisted Bathing/showering services and curative Therapy/Reiki/Chair yoga. The centre also provides a chance to meet new friends and take part in our programme of activities. Advice and Signposting is offered. Along side this, we offer The Sunflower Centre for those that need extra support due to Dementia. This successful centre offers daily activities and social stimulation for service users which enables carers daily respite opportunities.

AGE Concern Southend on Sea
ACSOS offer a friendship/befriending service for older adults; a low cost transport driver service which offers lifts to and from medical appointments, shopping, day centres/clubs and love ones in hospital/homes, along with information, advice, a ‘handyman’ service to provide assistance with small repairs and signposting for other services and agencies. The friendship/befriending service seeks to provide comfort, friendship and practical help to residents in the borough of Southend on Sea who feel isolated or who need support in maintaining the lifestyle they wish to lead. In addition to providing company, weekly visits also enable the volunteer to monitor the well-being of the person being visited. This is an invaluable service in that any signs of deterioration in the health of the person being visited can be reported to the appropriate authority at the earliest possible stage.

Age UK Barnsley
Age UK Barnsley was set up in 1974 following an initiative from Age Concern England (now known as Age UK). We are concerned with promoting the well being, fulfillment and happiness of older people living in the Barnsley Metropolitan District. . The charity provides a wide number of services from its own funds and works in partnership with Social Services and the NHS Barnsley in delivering further services to support the health and social care needs of Barnsley's older population. Through the efforts and commitment of some 5 full-time and 25 part-time staff, together with a further 150+ regular volunteers, we are able to support and provide services to approximately 1000 older people on a regular basis and an even larger number on an occasional basis through services such as Advice & Information and Advocacy. Like many charities Age UK Barnsley relies on donations to fund some of its work. There are lots of ways in which you can help us to raise money. Age Uk Bath and North East Somerset
Age UK Bath & North East Somerset is a local, independent charity supporting older people in Bath & North East Somerset. Although part of the Age UK family, all the money we raise is used to support people in B&NES. We rely on the generosity of the local community, businesses and people just like you to help us keep our services running. We run specialist Dementia Services which operates from the Royal United Hospital in Bath, and works alongside the RUH staff and the Carers' Centre to support people living with dementia upon discharge from hospital. Our footcare service is run in collaboration with the Podiatry team of Virgin Healthcare and is available to people aged over 70. They can check your feet for any problems, such as pain or swelling, help with cutting nails, and remove dead or cracked skins. We offer many other services to both the elderly and people living with dementia which includes a befriending service.

Age UK Birmingham

Age UK Blackburn with Darwen
Age UK BwD (previously known as Age Concern BwD) was established in 1976 as a local independent registered charity. Over the years we have worked with thousands of older people within the community providing a range of services. We are a member of the National Age England Association and our intentions are to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience, promoting the wellbeing of older people. Age UK Boston and South Holland
