West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust
West Middlesex Hospital is an acute hospital in Isleworth, West London. We serve a local population of around 400,000 people covering the London Boroughs of Hounslow, Richmond upon Thames and surrounding boroughs. Our local commissioners of acute services are Hounslow and Richmond & Twickenham Primary Care Trusts. We also provide services to local residents in association with: The Brompton Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal Marsden Foundation Trust, Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trust, North West London Hospitals, Ealing Hospital and the Hammersmith and Charing Cross sites of Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust. Employing some 1,800 people, the hospital has around 400 beds. The Trust has an annual budget in excess of £148 million, and has a rolling programme of investment in the latest equipment and technology. West Middlesex has an impressive record: we perform well in comparative assessments of clinical performance. We recognise that part of the strength of the Trust is the dedication and commitment shown by everyone who works here. West Orchard United Reformed Church
West Orchard URC is a suburban church, which has 100 or so members,and is well known within the local community. We have good halls with a well equipped kitchen and other facilities that support local organisations and activities for all ages. We estimate that over 300 people use the church per week currently, either for groups that meet or worship. We work in partnership with other local organisations. West Somerset Healthcare is the GP practice for Watchet, Williton, and nearby villages. The Patient Participation Group is an advisory group containing patients who work voluntarily together with practice staff and representatives from other significant local healthcare organisations to act as ‘critical friends’ to help the practice improve services for the patient population. The group enables constructive and challenging discussion to help the surgery to better understand the patient perspective and be more responsive in their service delivery.
