Essex Wildlife Trust

Essex Wildlife Trust was set up to protect wildlife for the future and for the people of Essex. We work across the whole of the county and protect, conserve and educate. Our main office is near Tiptree and we have 11 visitor centres across Essex that include education, café, shop and in most cases, a reserve.

1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Ensuring that we are providing something useful and that we are able to support people with dementia who come to our sites in a way that will be beneficial.  Also getting everyone trained as dementia friends with the constraints we have in place.
