1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We have attended Dememtia Training as a company so all staff are fully trainined in how to handle people with the diaganosis of dementia. We also hold events for older residents of Havering where by they can make new friends and prevent social isolation.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

To ensure the members of the public also have an understanding of how to help people with dementia.
