1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We have recently attended our Dementia Friendly training session where majority of staff attended - for some staff this was a refresher session. We hold a carers afternoon on the fourth Thursday of the month at our Oldfield site to assist carers, some who care for people with dementia

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

To ensure all staff are dementia friendly To refresh training on an annual basis
