1. Action Plan
1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
The dementia cafe provides a safe and open enviorment for visitors to chat and share experiences. the carers especially need this time and we are trying to give them the time and support they need
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
Most need time and support in their own homes- which we cannot do for them. we are looking at any other services that we can do to help carers. we have just started a drop in centre with info.
