1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

To help make Woking more Dementia Friendly.

Help people caring for people affected by dementia with what Nat West can do to make banking easier.

  • Insure all bank staff are dementia friends and have badges to wear

    Liaise with the branch manager to find out how many staff are not dementia friends and organise  a champion to run sessions or have staff complete bank training for dementia friends

    Use a checklist to visually assess the banking hall.

    Work with managers/area managers to implement changes.

  • Support any dementia cafes

    Liaise with the organisers of the dementia cafes to go along to support and also give help and information on banking services.
