1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

To be supportive in the community with an understanding of dimentia

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

 As a flooring retailer we must display patterned carpets and we also display mirrors for sale which cannot be avoided.

    Held a dementia friends awareness session for staff.

  • Environmental check list

    Completed an environmental checklist, including signage, lighting which is sufficient

  • Dementia champion

    To become a dementia champion and attend a one day course in London
