1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We wish to demonstrate our commitment to those people in our community living with dementia. We will update all our staff on the importance of dementia and make sure all staff have become Dementia Friends.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

With changes in staff, it will be a challenge to keep all staff up to date, but it can be done.
