1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

I have a sense of belonging and of being a valued part of family, community and civic life-enabling access for those living with dementia and their carers to the museum collections

  • Dementia Friends Awareness sessions

    to run regularly awareness sessions for staff and volunteers at the museum to increase understanding of dementia

  • Dementia Friendly programming

    to run annual programme of events for people living with dementia and their carers

  • Partnerships

    to develop partnerships with organisations supporting people living with dementia and their carers in order to deliver Dementia Friendly Activities
