1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Staff education

 There is a fine line with signage/ colour coding – can look too busy

 Cost – chairs / maps / signage / colour coding / training

2. Actions

  • Make improvements to our physical environment

    To have coloured zones.

    Add adhesive stripes/arrows to the walls

    Have maps to hand out to patients

    Improve signage in waiting area’s, lifts, main entrance

    Condense amount of posters in building, ensure they are on correct colour background

    Put line on floor for patients to stand behind

    Ensure the self-arrival screens have step by step instructions
