1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We attend the local DAA meetings to keep up to date with dementia related initiatives. As part of our aim to be a dementia friendly organisation, we offer Dementia Friends awareness sessions, to both staff and volunteers. Some of the sessions are also offered to service users and members of the public. We ensure that all our teams are kept up to date with dementia related initiatives and local/ national policy.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
