1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

The aim of Nancy's Vintage Teashop is to support people living with dementia to have a sense of belonging and being a valued part of family and community life by providing a safe and supported teashop environment.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Making sure that all staff have a good understanding of the issues surrounding people living with Dementia by attending and cascading training. Helping staff not to make assumptions. To enhance our reputation for providing excellent customer service.
