1. Action Plan
1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
To better Newport (my home town) in terms of looking after people living with dementia, and make things better for their friends, families and carers.
Establishing what actions are most important will be driven by ideas discussed at Newport group meetings.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
The challenges will come as we discuss with other members of the Newport group how realistic some of these ideas are, and then overcoming logistical problems to make things happen.
