1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists a number of outcomes that we are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We are committed to increasing awareness of Dementia in the local community, increasing understanding of Dementia and how it affects people and tackling stigma. We would like to help create more a supportive environment for people with Dementia, where they are able to participate in everyday life and activities.

What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

The main challenge is the staff capacity for this work to meet the needs of the local community.
