1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Our role is to ensure that all our clients regardless of ability are respected and provided with the highest quality service. Transporting clients safely and securely in a clean vehicle with kind, professional and friendly drivers and assistants.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Ensuring all staff members are trained in the appropriate areas to perform at the highest level. Dealing with clients that are difficult and knowing how to get the best out of them. Remaining professional and patient at all times.
