Ealing & Hanwell Scouts

We are the UK's biggest mixed youth organisation. We change lives by offering 6 to 25-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities. Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world. There are 10 groups in the District, pretty much evenly spaced around Ealing and Hanwell.

Ealing Dementia Action Alliance

1. Action Plan

As a part of the Scouts 'A Million Hands' initiative, we've partnered with Alzheimer's Society to help educate and engage young people and their communities about dementia.

The Ealing and Hanwell Scouts have committed to supporting this partnership through:

- Educating ourselves on dementia through Dementia Friends information sessions

- Committing to wearing our Dementia Friends badges to help raise awareness of the disease

- Help to create a dementia-friendly generation through taking the messages of Dementia Friends and our individual actions to our schools, colleges and homes
