1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We will improve our understanding of dementia to better assist customers. 

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?


2. Actions

  • Staff to become Dementia Friends.

    We will arrange Dementia Friends information sessions for staff to help raise awareness.
  • Customer Facing Guide

    Stock copies of the Alzheimer's Society 'Guide for Customer-Facing Staff' and make avaliable to staff and volunteers. 

  • Stock Leaflets

    Ensure a maintained stock of Alzheimer's Society leaflets about dementia what people should do if they have concerns about memory.
