1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We are already involved with a dementia group using our premises, and members of our congregation affected in family situations: we want to help more.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Individuals within the church may be less sensitive to the issues, or may be in denial. We will be more outspoken, from the front and on a personal level to give better information.
