1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Increase awareness of staff to best serve customers living wth dementia in Merton.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

  • Dementia Friends

    Ensure staff become 'Dementia Friends' either online or with in-person sessions. 

  • Guide to Customer Facing Staff

    Ensure staff have access to the Alzheimer's Society 'Guide for Customer Facing Staff'.

  • Use Community Board

    Use the community board to display information about dementia and how people should proceed should they feel they have memory problems.
