1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Training and support to the team. Getting to know our members.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

As a large organisation not every branch may know the same member so unusual transations may not be questioned as much.

2. Actions

  • Dementia Friends Session

All staff to attend a Dementia Friends Session.

  • Information Provision

Display and advertise Alzheimer's Society services and events.

  • Aware of members who may need extra support

Member may want to withdraw a large amount or want to complete various transactions, so we would offer more helpand support to establish what it is they want to do.
