We are a local charity and we believe regardless of their age or background everyone can benefit from creative inspiration in their lives. Our principal aim as a charity are to promote art and creative activity; to inspire, empower and enable people to develop and grow. Our aim is for artists to be funded to work in local care and community settings to enable people with dementia and long term illness to access the arts.

1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

By enabling people to live well with dementia and enable  people and carers to access workshops and support to be creative and bring inspiration to their lives.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Funding is difficult especially being a new charity in a rural setting.
