1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

RRAVS work closely with local charities and community groups in the Rochford District, supporting them to achieve their full potential.

This is achieved through training, advice, funding and governance support, information sharing, creating networking opportunities, organising community events and representing their views to local government, funding bodies and others.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Ensuring we reach as many peoople as possible using new and conventional communication channels.
