1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We want to raise awareness of dementia and help the local community in any way we can.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We anticipate no difficulties.

  • Raising awareness of dementia

    We will help to raise awareness of dementia in our local community.

  • Chip morning

    We will provide a chip morning for our older customers, with free tea and coffee.

  • We will promote our local Dementia Friendly Community

    We will display posters for Bitterne Dementia Friendly Community in the shop.
