1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We are reviewing the services we provide at our office with a view to becoming more dementia friendly.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

2. Actions

  • Customer Needs

    We will be aware of the needs of our customers with Dementia attending our Job centre and will review how we deliver our services to become Dementia friendly. We will deliver an individual service to each person, being aware that some customers may not yet be diagnosed.

    Our Dementia Champion will train our staff as Dementia friends.

    We will promote the work of the local Dementia Alliance among Employers and local organisations we deal with and we will also publicise local activities
