1. Action Plan
1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
Arttrend provides a safe and comfortable environment for people to create art which can be either painting, drawing or craft work. Assistance is given as needed and encouragement is given to those partaking to make their own choices. All materials and refreshments are provided.
This is creative and rewarding session, and the work done gives great satisfaction and a sense of acheivement.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
Arttrend aims to be able to provide something for everyone whatever their ability or level of understanding to give that person a sense of fulfilment and acheivement.
