1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We want to:

Ensure all staff are Dementia Friends, having knowledge and awareness of dementia. Have procedures in place to support people with dementia.  Involve tenants in our actions to make the shopping centre as dementia-friendly as possible.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Having our tenants become involved in creating a dementia-friendly environment.

2. Actions

  • Dementia-friendly staff

Ensure all of our staff are Dementia Friends and this is recognisable to our customers.
