Currock Community Centre

We are a community centre working for the local community centre and supporting local projects for people who need it in the community. We deliver and provide a venue for a range of activities to anyone who wants to access them. We are not for profit charitable organisation.

1. Action Plan

We are a community centre and wish to deliver services to all, no exclusions. Through joint working with other key organisations and membership of the DAA. Advertising membership may result I  locals contacting us.

Through delivery of services and subsequent feedback for people with dementia themselves we hope to review the effectiveness of these actions

2. Actions

  • Familiarisation

    Staff/volunteers to work with our existing dementia group to make temselves more familiar

  • Training for staff/volunteers

    Organise for staff/volunteers to receive training to become a more demetia friendly community centre

  • Co-operation/Joint working

    To work with other groups to deliver more dementia related activities
