1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We can provide a safe environment for those affected by dementia, either themselves or someone they know, by ensuring our actions are implemented.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We will need to ensure that we are able to have an appropriate amount of 'Dementia Friendly' staff working each day.

  • Raise Awareness

    By providing information on our 'table-talkers' that sit upon our restaurant tables and by placing posters around the nursery providing information for the general public, alongside having individuals coming in-store to raise awareness among customers.
