1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We signpost people to other dementia-friendly services, activities and support networks.

We are developing our dementia-friendly offer both in the community and at our gallery venue.

Our ambition is to continue to work in an inclusive way for those living with and without dementia.

Provision of art engagement in accessible settings, so people can lead healthier lifestyles and reduce social isolation.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Accessing and utilising best practice engagement and evaluation techniques

Ongoing training for our volunteers on dementia awareness.
