1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Visiting the museum helps to bring back memories of childhood and the toys and games people played with. Visitors are in a comfortable environment where they can share those memories with family or carers. We aim to provide a clear, comfortable space for visitors which is easy to move round.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We need to make families and carers aware of our presence, opening times and also our flexibility of opening for groups.
