1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We are committed to doing everything we can to ensure that the Hotel is welcoming to all, including people living with dementia. To that end we will be raising awareness among staff so that we will be better able to avoid or resolve any difficulties that might arise, and make the experience of anyone with dementia and their carers an enjoyable one.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Hosting events will of course be subject to the availability of suitable rooms at any given time. We will also need to schedule staff information session attendance at times when adequate cover is available.
