1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We have a long established private client department and are experienced in dealing with clients living with and carers caring for those people living with dementia.  The entire firm has recently been invited to become dementia friends and we are all now proud badge wearers.  Our staff are passionate members of their community and are actively involved with local charities and organisations and are keen to pass on the message of a dementia friendly society

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We are now nearly all Dementia Friends and we will continue to keep this at the forefront of our minds in delivering services to our clients and offering the best possible service to all.
