1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Becoming a member will hopefully enable relatives or carers of people with dementia to feel confident in our ability to assist them with their in-store needs.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Recognising someone with dementia could be difficult for someone who has never encountered the disease before. Attendance at a ‘Dementia Friends’ session could help in this regard
