1. Action Plan

The overarching aim of the Calne Community Dementia Friends working group (CCDF) is to make sure that everyone from the Calne Community Area living with dementia is respected and enabled to continue to enjoy living their lives in their own community as well as possible for as long as possible.

Calne Town Council is an active member on the Working Group, committed to working in partnership across the community to develop practical actions to support those living with dementia and those who care for them in the Calne Community Area.

2. Actions

  • Dementia Training Sessions

    To continue to run Dementia training sessions for all new employees and Councillors

    Status:

  • to continue to attend and support CCADAA meetings

    To continue to send an officer of the Town Council to help support the CCADAA Steering Group and Working Group

    Status:

  • To conduct a Dementia friendly audit of Town Council properties

    To ensure all of the Town Council public buildings are Dementia friendly.
