1. Action Plan
1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
As a transport company who manages travel for all, it is important that we work with dementia friendly Leeds. and drivers.
We will work with our dementia action alliance contact to understand the specific requirements of passengers with dementia.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
I am sure we will encounter difficulties and raising awareness amongst drivers may be difficult due to varying work shift patterns. It is important that we work with Leeds DAA to ensure we have the best possible education for our drivers.
