1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
Supporting Dementia Action Alliances through funding and supporting charities and community groups to deliver services to those living with dementia locally.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
Understanding the need locally and being connected to those who can make a direct differnece.

For one member of staff to become a Dementia champion.

Staff Awareness
The Dementia Champion to share the information session with all staff before the end of January 2017, enabling all to become Dementia Friends.
Session booked for 13th March as unable to offer before, 12 attendees booked.

For the Dementia Champion to become a member of the Ipswich Dementia Action Alliance steering group and share knowledge with staff Have met with IDAA on several occasions and becoing more involved.
