We have been meeting as a memory cafe every 1st and 3rd Tuesday and our numbers have been steadily growing.
We have been encouraging our guests to attend other community engagement activities and have had a good uptake (particularly lunch club and Friendship Cafe)
We have forged strong links with one of the local primary schools who come to some of the sessions to engage with our guests.
Recently we have been exploring the idea of including preschool children. An initial session with a nearby nursery was much enjoyed by young, old and those in between.
One of the local Care Homes has been bringing a group of residents to the memory cafe so that they are less isolated from the wider community.
