1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

As we work with several community groups that are likely to interact with people with dementia we think it is important that as many people as possible are Dementia Friends and that key organisations are members of the DAA so that they can tie in to a larger network and learn from other organisations.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Many of the groups we work with comprise mainly of volunteers and do not have much time, getting a commitment from some of them will be our main problem.
