1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Raising awareness of the DAA in Ealing and providing information about the positive actions our members can take in dementia awareness raising by referring them to the DAA website and other resources the Alzheimer's Society offers

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Getting active engagement from businesses in Ealing who already have many priorities to manage day to day

2. Actions

  • Informing members about the DAA

We will inform our EBP members of the existence of the DAA and encourage them to join it

  • Support the DAA

We will attend DAA metings when possible and contribute positively to the discussions it facilitates

  • Promote Dementia Friends

We will promote the Dementia Friends initiative and investigate whether our members would like to have a session organised outside of the Partnership  meetings
