1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Our community portal is aligned to providing the best information on local services. This includes highlighting businesses and services which are Dementia Friendly.

We also promote the work of the IDAA, and opportunities to become a Dementia Friend.

One of the Directors is also an active member of the IDAA Steering Group.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Keeping up to date with developments that could improve services with those living with Dementia.
