1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We have a group of volunteers including church stewards, young people from our Boys' Brigade and Junior Church, and members of the congregation who are committed to ensuring that people living with dementia and their carers feel welcomed, valued and supported at Tingley Methodist Church.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We recognise that being a dementia friendly church is an onging process and that however well we might think we are doing, we will always be able to learn and do more and.
