1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We are always striving to improve the care we provide. We can support people with dementia by helping the dental environment to be a less daunting place to be making it a calmer place to visit.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

As a practice we have discussed this and we feel there are no challenges in delivering understanding and supporting those affected by dementia.
