1. Action Plan
1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
GLL Is making a commitment to establishing our venues as dementia friendly and that our staff are trained as Dementia Friends to ensure that everyone from our local community can access our facilities. We exist to give access to affordable venues and services that improve health and wellbeing of our customers and local communities, making day to day life better for everyone and being dementia aware allows us to do that.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
GLL are committed to continued internal/external evaluation. We highly value our participant’s views relating to their experience on the programme and strive to deliver a customer centred service.
