1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
Fitting their needs to what they want and can do, and what can be provided. Liaising with carers and family members. All staff are trained in dementia awareness.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
Making sure that clients’ needs fit with their capabilities to ensure they are safe and satisfied as far as possible.
