1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

As we interact with a large number of customers each day we are able to raise awareness of the issues surrounding dementia. We are often in a good position to spot the signs of dementia so it is important that our understanding is good.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

A lack of staff awareness and not taking the time within a busy working day to take advantage of our opportunities to help.
