1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Santander work as Simple , Personal and Fair for customers and employees. Part of our stratery is to support communities and our customers. After the training we received today from Dementia Friends we all feel a lot more confident in dealing with people with dementia and will be able to assure and support them.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Lots of challenges but we can help to overcome these with the trainig we have recieved and ensure this is ongoing.

We need to ensure we are looking out for vulnerable customers in our branch environment to support, emphasise and help them in the best way we can.
